Utah lawmakers are scheming to try and cancel a probable victory for two issues on the ballot this November. The issues are on more money for local schools and to legalize medical cannabis--both initiatives are looking good for passage, with polling approval by more than 65% of Utahns. But there are bills now in the legislature to make sure the will of the voters is thwarted.
