1. Eliminates public lands altogether by transferring them to individual states

2. Allows individuals, companies, or local officials to “petition” to “use” public land for virtually any reason, from building housing to “research” (on what, he is unclear).

3. Abolishing the Antiquities Act, the legislation that has protected national lands, many of which have become National Parks. In Utah, Lee would require impossible new red tape for protection of existing public lands.

Seriously, these guys keep doubling down on coal and extraction--and for some reason, they keep running away from Utah's obvious future--outdoor recreation and ecotourism. The state political machine is stuck in the nineteenth century. More
